From now on PDF documents will have their own thumbnail preview pop up when you place the mouse over the name. It is a preview of the document's first page. This way the list of file types with thumbnails on FT is: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .tga, .tiff, .tif, .psd, .wmf and .pdf. Files bigger than 192MB will have a default thumbnail.
