FileTank users are aware that they can see their image files/not just file names/ using the automatically generated thumbnail previews. That is the case with professional image formats such as 'bmp', 'jpg', 'jpeg', 'png', 'gif', 'tga', 'tiff', 'tif', 'psd', 'wmf', 'pdf'.

Now a number of popular video formats have their own thumbnail preview – animated GIF which consists of combined video frames extracted from the movie. This is valid for popular video formats: '3gp', 'avi', 'flv', 'm4v', 'mp4', 'mpg', 'mpeg', 'mov', 'wmv'.

Place the mouse over the file name and you'll have an idea about its contents.
